To Export Section Data to DWG

When exporting a OpenBuildings Station Designer model from the DGN format to the DWG format, section data is attached as a string to each element in the exported file. This is an important reference when viewing OpenBuildings Station Designer elements in a DWG enabled environment. A special configuration variable TFSAVEAS_SECTIONNAMETODWGBLOCK must be defined in order to export the section data:

The section data associated to the individual OpenBuildings Station Designer members is now imbedded into the exported elements.

Syntax example: W10X12 - 76846 where W10X12 is the section name and 76846 is the element ID number.

Select File > Settings > Configuration > Configuration Variables to open the Configuration dialog.
Click New, and enter TFSAVEAS_SECTIONNAMETODWGBLOCK in the Variable field in the New Configuration Variables dialog.
Enter 1 in the New Value field, and click OK.
Tip: A zero (0) value disables the functionality.
Select File > Export > Common File Types > DWG (*.dwg) and provide a file name in the field provided in the Export File dialog.
Click Options to manipulate the various export options in the Save As DWG/DXF Options dialog.
